Drew I have said this before on one of these videos but money means absolutly nothing when it comes to how succesful a nation is. It is based off of their military strength which is rated from 1-6 1 is the worst 6 the best. If a nations military is at a 1 it as if they have no military and will just crumble under the strength of other nations. The reason you are seeing such random chaos is because by default military strength is randomized every little while. This means that randomly you could have a nation with a rating of 1 suddenly go to a 6 and vice versa. If you want things to be a little bit less random you can change the settings so that military strength is less chaotic. It will still fluctuate but instead of going from a 1 to a 6 it would be to a 2 or from like a a 5 to a 4 or a 6. Money only plays a factor if a nation runs out of money then it is treated as if the nations military is at a 1.
