They all look like they could be recruits at "Xavier's School". The good thing about mutants is that you can take anyone from any background & have them spontaneously develop a random superpower w/o really having to explain how they got said powers.

A handful of teams not mentioned. Imma just do a few. 1. Guardians of the galaxy- Heatblast The Guardians of the galaxy were searching the universe for a bounty. They had heard about a mysterious fugitive that had been attacking ships across the universe, burning them to ash. The Guardians, after hours of work, were able to lure it into a trap, where they caught it and found out what it was. An alien part of a species Thanos had decimated, he had been recruited as a son of Thanos. He had been modified to be resistant and able to control fire, although with his 'father' dead, he couldn't control it. Feeling pity, Nebula convinced the others to ignore the bounty, and the young alien joined the Guardians of the galaxy, under a new codename. Heatblast. 2. The Leigon of Superheroes- Four-arms The Leigon of Superheroes were holding tryouts for new members. They had seen a lot of ridiculous things, with them having no luck. When a small, weak-looking red boy with four, yellow eyes stepped up, the Leigon were about to turn him away, but he suddenly grew double the size, 2 new arms appearing from his torso, and his muscles strengthening. Impressed, the Leigon quickly agreed to recruit him, under the codename 'four-arms' 3. X-Force (Deadpool)- Ripjaws Deadpool had just decided to create the X-Force. All he needed was a few team members. Little did he know he'd stumble across one by accident. Whilst looking for something to eat, Deadpool went looking for Sushi. He found a place that had a large fish tank. Inside was a mutant that was more fish than man. Realising the fishman could be useful, Deadpool casually shot the tank open and burned the restaurant down. Recruiting the grateful mutant, Deadpool went on his way, seeing a food truck nearby. 4. Suicide Squad- Stinkfly The newest recruit for the squad seemed fairly useless. He was a simple thief arrested at his house. However, he soon proved to be more than that. In his attic was found a high tech weapon suit. Mechanical wings that allowed flight, guns attached to a headset that fired a pungent, adhesive substance, a metal tail that made mincemeat of a steel truck, this guy clearly had more to offer the Squad, an opportunity Amander Waller jumped at.

That Wildmutt lore is top-tier origin story.

How about : -Ben 10 villains as Dragons - my hero academia characters as Dragon slayers -Rwby characters as X-Men

Originally, the premise of ben 10 was that ben would turn into alternate versions of himself, all of which are superheroes with unique powers Marvel actually made a hero just like this, in the form of Legion, way before ben 10 I think

Fun Fact: the protrusions on Wildmutt's arms & back are actually quills, and full grown Vulpimancers can fling them at opponents.

Ironically enough there was a series called "Dial H for Hero" that DC at least owned the rights to at one time, and they were part of the Amalgam crossover with Marvel comics (merged with a Marvel character). And the premise was very similar to Ben 10.

My Personal Favorite would have to go to the XLR8 design. He was one of my favorite aliens from the original Ben 10 lineup, and I don't mind at all that he was redesigned as a woman. I also like the tie-in to the MCU and her becoming an avenger.

Quirk Description: Beast by Sight gives U~irubā an apperance similar to Jurota Shishida (although his fur is shorter/well managed/orange) and allows to be able enhance his already strong physique & senses (strength/speed/hearing/smell) and grow powerful claws that have been able to, so far, cut through materials as strong as steel. Though for some weird reason, whenever U~irubā "activates" his quirk, he goes 100% blind. * @ 7:48 Civilian Name: Guregorī Gijutsu Appusuwāsu. Hero Name: The "Living Gadgetry" Hero, Hardware. Quirk: Nanite Factory. Type: Accumulation. Quirk Description: Nanite Factory allows Guregorī to produce/accumulate within his own body, nanites that grant him a wide variety of abilities. This abilities include, tech assimilation/control, technopathy (speaking with technology) & minor shapeshifting. The only 2 noticible problems or weakness that this otherwise powerful quirk has is that whenever he a large enough shock (i.e. Kaminari's super move - indiscriminate shock 1.3 million volts), he become extremely nauseous & if enough nanites are produced, his personality becomes very robotic (think of Hal 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey). * @ 10:35 Civilian Name: Chakku Gyakuryū. Hero Name: The "Ever Hungry", Iron Stomach. Quirk: Bottomless Pit. Quirk Type: Mutant/Emitter. Quirk Description: As the name of the quirk implies, Bottomless Pit allows Chakku to be able to eat well beyond what a normal person should eat daily. Once digested, the things he digests become pure energy (it's properties vary) which Chakku can somehow barf up on mental command. The energy he projects changes drastically to somehow match whatever he's eaten. Just like Soramitsu Tabe, he has a very strong jaw/bite force. However, unlike him & just like/unlike Tsuyu Asui, he has 3, 25 meter long tongues. These can be used to grab/move/bludgeon foes & food alike. * @ 12:43 Civilian Name: Xena Kuikku Sereran. Hero Name: The "Roller Derby" Hero, Sk8. Quirk: Treadmill. Quirk Type: Mutant. Quirk: Treadmill grants Xena treadmill like protrusions on the soles of her feet that allow her to move at extraordinary speeds. Like those in the Ida family, Xena can dash/run or as she's more prone to, skate for varying distances. She shares the families genetic weakness of needing some form of fuel, which she has found to be sugar (the purest sugar provides greater efficiency and power). Unlike them however, Treadmill can only be used on flat surfaces/pavemet. The soles of her feet must almost be cleaned daily.
