There's this one fanfic I read where "the Pillars continue to support this world in every era, even after the demons have long disappeared." Basically, the Pillars all reincarnate into different eras, all of them becoming historical figures that supported the rest of humanity.

Info: Once an honorable and good human named "Hakuji", with a beautiful fiance by the name of "Koyuki". Trained in martial arts and capable of killing hundreds of humans with relative ease. He was found by Muzan in a bad state of mind, and as a result, lost his memories and his ideals became twisted. Now, he is known as the demon's Upper Moon Three, Akaza. He retains some of his old honorable ideals, but most of it has been twisted to the idea of "the strong should crush the weak". To this day, he fights on. For what? He doesn't know.
