I think that after a completed rumbling, Eren would alter the memories of everyone from Paradise, erasing the events of the rumbling and himself, as well as the knowledge of Marley and the outside world. By doing this, the people of Paradise would be free to explore and experience the world the way Eren wanted to while being blissfully unaware of the trampled civilisation beneath them.

I always found it weird that we never learned more about the creature that gave the Titan powers from the tree. How are there not more of these creatures throughout the world

It would be interesting if eren turned everyone on the island into titans(except for historia and her baby) and used them to kill anyone who is not eldian on the island. Then, once that was done, he would have full control over everyone on the island. This would allow him to take away the curse of ymir, and he would also be able to alter everyone's memories to stop all conflicts that are on the island. This would allow everyone to be at peace with each other on the island.

It seems like everytime a story maker goes this way with a “villain” where their plan actually makes sense even though it’s a horrible way of doing it, they always P*SSY out last minute and have the hero’s win, even if, realistically, the hero’s winning means more suffering later. I’m glad you actually had Eren win and showed that things would be better. Even if there was other options, the fact that this works and is realistic makes me love this ending way more, and is now my personal head canon 😌😌

Thank you for this! This is the ending that would stay true to the themes that were originally introduced especially in the final acts of the show. This would keep Eren’s character consistent and be such a more gutsy and iconic story.

I really hate Ymir. She literally played with people’s lives and emotions, and led Eren to his death just so she could feel “freedom” through Mikasa killing Eren because she didn’t do it to Fritz?? There were an unlimited number of alternatives, including, but not limited to, getting tf over it & moving on. But she destroys Erens life, meanwhile making him stay on this path ( because, once again, she was using him and he didn’t really have control ) and makes it to where he has to die.. and people wonder why most hate the mangas ending. It’s bad.. like, you can have a ending that’s not happy, but also feel right or satisfying… the original ending is just bad.

I genuinely go out of my way to not listen to these theories because more and more people put together this amazing story better than its creator kind of gets me upset/frustrated Great theory as always mate

I just want to clarify that Eren DID win and everything he wanted to happen did happen. He never wanted to complete it he wanted to make his friends hero’s and have his race be accepted by the rest of the world and to do that he became the villain.

I swear this kind of ending would've fixed a lot of inconsistencies and plot holes the original ending has. Makes more sense with the Hostoria and Eren interactions, and lastly, would've solved the Ymir being in love with King Fritz so she had to live her life as Mikasa to end the curse, which literally made no sense whatsoever.

I kinda feel bad for Isayama. The ending he originally wrote tied everything together. Imagine taking the majority of your time, to write a story and deliver a message that you wanted. Only for fans to rage for not getting the ending that they wanted. I saw a video on Instagram of Isayama with bags under his eyes. He looked really tired. He stayed that "since the ending was not well received" that the anime will get a different ending. Which sucks for any writer, or storyteller. Imagine writing and putting your all into your creative writing. Only for the fans to state that they hated the way you wrote your story.

While I do have some problems and nitpicks about your ending for the most part I like it and think it would be a good official ending while largely fitting in to the rest of the story and making sense

Great video, and to me it's an amazing head canon, but my head canon is is a little different than yours, as my head canon is not only did Eren completed the rumbling and survived, but he becomes king and lead Eldia to fully rulling the earth. Here's my explanation of my Head canon. In chapter 123 when Eren said he will destroy the world to the subjects of Ymir, his words are different, at first it starts the same, with him saying that the world wants to eliminate the subjects of Ymir, but instead of saying he will wipe out all people out side paradis. He will only take out the governments of the global alliance and the entire government and military leadership of Marley, then he will say "And to my fellow subjects of Ymir on the continent, I will give each of you a power of the nine, revolt against your oppressors and join paradis. you have suffered long enough, break free from your prisons and join your fellow Eldians. it's time for Eldia to rise once more, and this time we will make sure our empire never falls again. We will take our Empire from Marley but this time instead of subjugating them like before we will wipe out all marleyans from the face of the earth!!!! LONG LIVE THE ELDIAN EMPIRE!!!! Then he will activate the rumbling but only an hardening wall maria, in my timeline instead Levi, Hange, Mikasa, armin, Coney and jean joining Marley into stoping the rumbling, they join the jaegerest to prepare retaking the continent, they will capture General magath, Gabi, Falco, Reiner and Pieck. Floch will kill the general and Yelena but the warriors will join Eldia giving Eldia the power of all of the nine as Annie wakes up and Joins too, after a few hours they will see titans coming from the mainland and when they reach the island they suddenly turn human again and Eren will bring them back to the paths, and explains when they reach the island their powers will be gone, and that they are safe until the rumbling is finished. After a day Eren will announce that the rumbling is complete and that Marley is no more, he will then explain that he ordered all the colossal titans to form a line separating what used to be Marley and the rest of the world and said that's the new wall maria, after that the entire island rejoice saying that their enemy is gone. Then he will use the power of the founding recreate his body, and when he will tell Ymir to remove the curse, that if an Eldian gets one of the nine they will only love 13 years, and Ymir agrees. After that all the Eldians celebrated to have their empire back. While some started work on the new wall Maria, the rest prepared to recolonize the mainland or improving infrastructure on paradis itself. While the world feared that the Eldian Empire is back they can't do anything about it as they fear the Rumbling.

Yes it was said that Ymir loved fritz but she is not a one dimensional character and we saw how she was abused by the king. The Fiery water, Ice Fields, Sandy Snowfields and never ending supply of salt coming from the sea on Armin's book before.. Eren believes that anybody who witnessed those would be the freest. But with humanity outside, the world is not empty. So he wants to wipe it all away. Hence he does the Rumbling.. That's why you saw the kid Eren spread his arms wide and say "Freedom".

The BEST ending AKA the one Isayama really wanted to do is called the MIST ending not this one with the child theory. In the MIST ending the Rumbling after destroying the whole world gets out of Eren's control and destroy Paradis Island Killing EVERYONE. Ymir made sure Eren "kept his promise" AKA end this world. Eren inside the founding titan would BEG Ymir to stop, not killing all his loved ones but it would be useless. In the end, Eren would be left ALONE in the WHOLE world screaming after Ymir "thanks" him for his services. The morality would be that the world is finally "at peace" because the whole of humanity is gone, no more wars. The world would become a gigantic barren wasteland. I wanted this ending so much. PS: Isayama made 4 endings for Attack on titan not just 1.

I feel like armin would most likely survive the rumbling but eren and armin would no long be friends, eren might also just avoid the island and rebuild the outside world by growing back plants and stuff so he would rarely interact with anyone else besides historia and ymir I also feel like he would just keep the titan power until he dies by cutting off all ties to the other eldians meaning even if he dies no one else will randomly get his power, I feel like eren would also maybe erase there memories or do something to them that keeps them from starting a war on each other by keeping them to focused on exploring the outside world to bother fighting with each other and soon they would maybe form their own nations and maybe have small conflicts but not many but who knows.
