Australia and NZ was not independent in 1936, so they are still puppets of UK! I will make a seperate scenario where very releasable country joins alphabetical alliances too!

@aidrian9862 Australia got its independence in 1901... New Zealand 1907 The last of the british/ UK legislation was officially taken out of all documents or replaced in 1986 for all the nations mentioned. From memory Canada was 1982 however.

They are puppets in the game, because they are still considered dominions and not 100% independent. Thats why they joined their overlords faction.

@aidrian9862 That's not independence, though, is it.... lol! Internal affairs were already self-governing in all 3 commonwealth before ww1. People get confused with all the wording. The same argument can be used to claim in 1986, or 1931 or 1942, but all are wrong. Australia was given its independence in 1901, Australia, along with other commonwealth, wanted British protection, as such concessions were made, in the 1930s Western Australia voted to brake away from the rest of Australia, the Australia government at the time refused to accept so the Western Australians sent it to the British parliament who also rejected it after 18 months of descusion as (Australia was an independent nation and the British had no say in its affairs...) Surely, you understand how big of a process independence is and that it doesn't change overnight. Edit: Dominion status meant that all nations were equal and in no way subordinate in any aspect, in domestic or external affairs to the UK or any other member.... That was official in what 1926

@aidrian9862 Australia remained British citizens until the nationality and citizenship act of 1948. But it wasn't completely taken away until the 1970s with the last few documents taken out or replaced in 1986, so what date do we use? Lol The point is that it takes time and is dependent on what you want to define it. Australia was official, given independent in 1901 hence should be the date used, and it took time to be implemented totally, but it was basically running its own internal affairs before that when it was still colonies, even a lot of international affairs. The Dominion Act/ Imperial Conference of 1926 also, as mentioned, stated that no member was subordinate to the UK or any other member and were equal. The Westminster Act was also given to Australia in 1931, It wasn't fully in effect until the 9th of October 1942. But was also (retroactive to be set for the 3rd of September 1939) (The Westminster Act was more symbolic than anything legal)
