Today, we look at a scenario where France has a civil war. France, located in Western Europe, is a country with a fascinating history. Of course, France is known for its many revolutions throughout history, so a civil war wouldn't be something new for this country. But what would happen if France had a civil war in the modern day? First, France's allies and global status should be accounted for. If a civil war were to happen, most of the world would stay neutral or back the French government. However, it cannot be ruled out that France's enemies would refrain from backing the revolution. With this in mind, how would a French civil war play out? (Spoiler alert) This is kind of unrealistic because UK, Germany, Spain, and Italy all support each other. The UK and Germany wouldn’t join the war because they would know that it would cause NATO to be more divided. Instead, they would all agree to not get involved.
