@@ZenXZez Actually it's milkomeda and the Andromeda Galaxy is going to collide with the milky Way in 4 and a half billion years. It's one of hundred galaxies which is getting blue shifted towards our Galaxy and at the same time the triangulum Galaxy is going to collide with milkomeda forming triangilkomeda and along with 98 other Galaxies to. Keep in mind the observable universe contains 2 trillion galaxies so this is absolutely nothing just a mere total speck of dust collision stretched out over 100s of billions of years.

@@Snowy_snow561 its through though sure if you zoomed out extremely far the light from the stars that has been traveling for eons will make galaxies look like they're full of stars and shit but when you actually see the distances between stars you realize that galaxies aren't that dense. Not saying star collisions cant happen but its extremely unlikely.

The central supermassive blackhole of each galaxies regulates everything inside the galaxy. So if two combined. The black hole would be very massive and probably Sagittarius A* is smaller than Andromeda's black hole. The combined galaxy will loose some of it's arms due to opposite spinning. Hence, but the length and diameter will be mind blowing. It'll be about 300,000 light years.
