That flatgrass is small by modern standards but it would've seemed huge around 2000 on a 15" CRT at 320x240.

I suggest getting the mod “Quake/Half-Life view bobbing” it adds to the goldsrc feel.

I also like to add the worldmodels as viewmodels addon for the other hl2 weapons, they almost match the hl1 style that way

@kaidenchobaniuk7863, im not sure if you're asking for the ragdoll thing, but if so, then i lied, but there is another sound mod that i feel is better. Its called Half-Life/GoldSrc Resampled HD Ragdoll Sounds Copy and paste ^

there is a half life 1 mod that adds the original npcs, entities and weapons (and expansions) with even the original ai and death animations, no ragdolls there is also a playermodel of gordon freeman (and deathmatch models) that keep the original Half life 1 animations. there are decal packs, more sound packs, original maps extended, you can basically play half life 1 in gmod, and still make it feel like goldsrc, not source

There is a proper HL1 swep pack that recreates the original weapons much more faithfully than the default HLS content.

the water mod works just not on that map, it works on the older version of that map tho, i did this a while ago and my game is completly remastered to be goldsrc.

You should check out the recently release two addon called animated props and advanced bonemerge tool. (Also don't forget the volumetric light/fog addon)

Dude, I think this is just the thing we could use. The entire Gmod Game Ported into Gold Source and Source 2, but as separate games, that way people don't need to worry about downloading Half Life Source and Half Life Alyx. We'll Call Them Gmod Gold Edition, and Gmod². This Might not be possible, and it could make Regular Gmod Obsolete.
