One of the highest potentials from any character in dragon ball comes from Son Gohan. The first half saiyan and child of Goku. Recently we’ve seen his potential unleashed in the form of Gohan Beast, now rivalling the likes of Goku and Vegeta who have trained endlessly to achieve their powers. However, Gohan's potential is still second to another's. Broly is arguably the character with the most potential, growing immensely while he fights. So today, I answer the question, What If Gohan had Broly’s Potential?

ive always wondered this although gohans potential is stronger then brolys one of the main reasons why gohans potential is because of him being a half sayin so technically their potentials would stack

funny thing is their levels of potential are pretty close broly having a bit more cuz he was able to make a bigger jump going straight to ssbe/ssbk with just fighting another sayain for the first time while it took an emotional amp for gohan to break the limit of ssbe/ssbk

Frieza would definitely have trained long enough to put up a fight, he’s a genius at predicting the growth of saiyans even without knowing what god ki is, he would probably unlock and master his black form maybe even gained a second full black one and mastering that as well, the point is he knows how much to train based on the power and growth of his opponent

Part that's not mentioned but worth noting is Gohans emotions as a half human boost him whereas it seems the normal Saiyans anger just pushes them to their max but not a real boost.

Man what a monster he'd be just by the nature of how both species work on a planet like earth. Goku can gain strength by: Almost dying And being around the sun His powers would be crazy from birth (or to make it less OP you take the other superman canons and say Clark doesn't awaken his powers until his early teens) so up until around the end of Dragon Ball you can say it relatively stays the same with only his Saiyan half being active. But by Z my man can fly at light speed, have borderline indestructible skin, Lazer eyes, cold breath, on top of the canon Saiyan abilities. Can you imagine an Ozumaru Goku also shooting lazers out of his eyes? 😂 Plus unlike superman, goku constantly being around other planet busting beings means he can actually train/spar hard without needing a kryptonite infused training room.

since gohan is able to hurt vegeta enough he isnt able to dodge krillins solar flare. Originally he was able to and then yajirobe swooped in.

Nice the what ifs of the Son Family having Broly's Potential is now complete. Hey at least Yamcha went out against Vegeta instead of normal canon so that's an upgrade at least. 🙂 Future Trunks probably thinking when seen this version of Gohan was like "Why isn't my Gohan this strong". Oh hey Full-Power SSJ matches the Great Saiyaman's outfit. 😆 I could see Gohan helping Kale in controlling her power during the TOP with similar they are. 👍 Oh boy I bet you Frieza would definitely have a grudge against Gohan here after losing to him during the Namek Saga and Resurrection F like I could see him make a comment during the Broly Movie on "Where Gohan is at" and Goku saying "He has more important things to worry about. I'll deal with you". 😆 Only problems I saw were no Kaio-Ken for Goku during the U6 vs. U7 Tournament, but you could use the whole God to Blue switch in place instead & no Gogeta during the Broly Movie, but Vegito can easily slide right into place since they know about the Potara Fusion from the TOP. 🤔 Finally my favorite part was the idea of Goku and Gohan working together to take out Jiren. Anyways another really Full-Story, and looking forward to the next one soon.

You forget Goku was training at 10X with King KI so I doubt he would be as powerful even with training year round with Piccolo I would say they would be at 5K for Piccolo and 6K for Goku easily beating Nappa

What If Vegeta Was Born With Broly's Potential?

I think there is a question not answered. Originaly, Cell didnt had gohan's cels. He had vegeta and gokus just because they prove themselves much stronger in sayan saga. However, not only Cell would have gohan's cels (with more potencial) as he would became perfect much sooner. Its unlikely that a stronger ikari Gohan + vegeta + Piccolo + trunks would let dr. Gero escape. Androids 17 and 18 would not awakened and Cell would be the only that knew where the lab was. Not only that, but Trunks could think the Android were different because of him and asked one of the sayans to Go with him to the Future (probably Goku). That was his plano B. I think a much stronger perfect Cell would appear after they Go to the Future and before they got back. He would be aware of gohans potencial and not toy with him. Just vegeta, Piccolo (not fused) and Gohan (that didnt trained in time Chamber) could not Win. This Cell has gohan cels (brolys potencial). Also, its not certain If Trunks + Goku could defeat Future androids since there is strong theory that they were not in fact weaker (maybe were Just playing with Trunks). Even if they can beat the androids, the time machine would take years to be ready for another travel. I fear Cell kills them ALL.

Won’t lie the opening of this what if makes no sense at all, how is goku at 10000 without training from king Kai, that extra 6 months wouldn’t make him stronger than his 8000 in the show. If anything he would be weaker because of not having the 10x gravity and not having a dead body that doesn’t get tired

the reason he has a year would make him stronger. Goku spent 6 WHOLE months traveling snake way. Then he spent half the time training actually learning the kaioken and spirit bomb. Here, he is training a year straight with a partner which is also an increased boost, trainin with someone is more beneficial. Idk how you're scaling but it makes sense. The gravity does matter which is why i didnt like double his power level, he's only slightly stronger in base and doesnt have kaioken.

@@yuisure6755 Broly’s rate of growth is astronomically higher than Gohan’s. You could say Gohan has a theoretically higher cap, but I don’t see any basis for that.

@@padraig-bobotia-maria5176 Where does it state that his potential is maxed? In fact, power ceilings don’t even seem to exist in Dragon Ball, we see everyone breaking their previous limits. Even characters like Roshi. It’s more about how quickly a character can gain power.

@@Dragonking2007-m4g Broly had been training on vampa for 40 years and to reach that level he had to fight god tier Goku and Vegeta to do so. Frieza trained with random dudes for 4 months and that's all it took. If vegeta wanted to kill him early the broly movie would have ended in two months

@@jiero3253 training? My guy he was living normally like kid goku after gohan. His training put him at base vegeta android saga or around there. His power comes from rage boosts. He didn't train like vegete with gravity or with weights he had no master to teach him like king kai, roshi or whis
