Goku and Vegeta would have to be facing Yemma's desk before even considering fusion. They hate the idea of such an easy boost that effectively negates their individual growth. They would never consider a third method of an idea they don't like in the first place. If it ever does happen, the two methods cover every situation. The fusion dance can be used anywhere, but at the cost of fusion duration, whereas potara has a physical requirement but allows a longer fusion duration. There isn't a need for a third method

My thing is since Gogeta and Vegito resulted into Gogito, that's only the half of it because the name dominately means Goku being in control, but if that's the case what would Vegeta dominate half be call? I would probably say Veguko/Veguka/Vegiku/Vegika/Vegigo/Vegiga/Vegita/Vugota/Vugeto/Vugato/Vugatu/Vugeka/Vugaku, however i wanna know if these two dominate fusion cross paths due to unparalleled universe what would it look like and what would it even be called? I would call it the Final Forbidden Fusion and the appearance would be utterly speechless. With that being aside there's another thing, since these dominate control fusions can swing back to Vegeta and Goku the fusions would probably never ends that's why in my opinion the fusion between dominant Goku and Vegeta would be highly moral and immoral respected as a own individual fusion that i believe to be that the dominate control would be considered equal balanced.
