My friend was actually in korea a month ago and she ran into gugudan in a cafe in Seoul, and she was such a big IOI fan so she said hi to Sejeong and she said Sejeong was really humble and really loved to communicate with her fans. My friend asked for a selfie together but she kindly declined and whispered that her manager was watching so they both just laughed. If this aint being nice then idk what is.

@@charananan553 Really? I actually find that shocking. I will admit I don't know that much about her. Most of what I know is through her involvement with girl groups IOI and Gugudan. From what little I have seen of her though she seems to be angel. I think we can all agree that she has an amazing singing voice; she is undoubtedly my favorite South Korean singer. I have a really hard time imagining anybody hating this girl. If you can could you please share with me some of the hate you have seen towards her I would greatly appreciate it.

I think its real but that just like 5 of 50 people that come , so maybe 1 out of 10 ten people maybe like that so the editor video just take the video who had behavior like that , but its just my opinion hehe

Most likely that they are real. Not only did they blur and pitch the voices (which of course, they might've done on purpose to "trick" us), but Koreans tend to be very blunt. It's not necessarily trying to be mean, it's just the culture of interaction. We are cold to strangers and on the street, but among friends and family we are very open and warm. You could say most cultures are like that, but Korea it really is like black and white.

i think that's real. tbh many people are like that in korea of course not all of them but many are known to be like that. so if you wanna go korea some day be prepared. all that aside, korea is still a very nice place to visit.

Kritika Rants 24/7 sometimes I think that’s safer for the idols - less chance to read hateful comments and they won’t get stalked by Sasaengs. And with social media having the tendency to be toxic, having no phones could lessen their stress. It has its pros and cons I’m sure.

In my past experience of working at clothes shop, that's actually happen. It did happen once to me (asked to lend money), and sometimes they ask for drink too (don't want plain water lol). But I'm not Korean nor live in Korea tho.

I think it's a running joke...like the girl in the video said, she knows the staff are filming her and stuff..And even she expected a male celebrity - meaning she knows what kind of video they are shooting...so it's no surprise that they went to that extend to create an absurd scene to show the viewers a glimpse of her daily lives...maybe perhaps chuckle at the absurdity or relate to her

He might have been staged but ... it does happen. service in retail and restaurants are extremely common. Also if this guy was serious then he isnt asking for money to get Starbucks he probably eyed a vending coffee which can cost 200-500 up to 1000 won. ($0.20 - $0.50 up to $1.00) Not expensive so lot of places give service. If you come down to korea and ask for "service" (서비스) you will be surprised what you get.
