The idea of Cthulhu driving those who see him insane is a small misconception. It is only applicable to those who are weak or average willed, but those who are strong willed will have their minds shaken but not broken. It’s all a matter of mental fortitude.

Nobody knows until we try it. Speaking on something that doesn’t even sound possible because getting everybody to do that and scream all at the same time would be hard to do as planned.

Remember, Cthulhu is just A Priest of Yog Sothoth. Imagine it, people consider Cthulhu a GOD but he isn't. There's bigger threats such as Nyarlathotep, Yog Sothoth, and Azathoth (who dreams our reality and if he ever wakes up, the universe as we be know it will cease to be). So.... Can any SCP defeat Gods who can alter reality and created the universe?

So the fact that Cthulhu is a giant combination of human,dragon,and octopus is what makes him an Eldritch Entity? So being any combination of organisms that can't mix is the definition of Eldritch Abomination? So then would that mean even DAVY JONES, every mermaid ever, and SPONGEBOB are all ELDRITCH ABOMINATIONS?

Nah Eldritch beings in this context just mean ancient outer gods that are unknowable and all powerful to Humans

@Asim Malik . ????????????????? Well I know Cthulhu is not the strongest being in there. How is what I described not Cthulhu when it's exactly what everyone ever says about Cthulhu? Cthulhu is the draconic octopus man of THE GREAT OLD ONES who lays dead dreaming underwater..... but kinda not dead because he wakes up in his own story to show off his divine healing factor after some poor little kids drive their little boat through him.
