So throw it like a flask to deal AOE damage to undead mobs. Put it in a bucket and it can "Cure" Nether based blocks like (like how water turns concrete powder into concrete): -Netherack > Sandstone -Blackstone > Deepslate -Crying Obsidian > Obsidian -Basalt > Diorite

The ptsd I got from playing rlcraft and going into a cave forgetting to bring water than finding a lvl 5 dragon that destroys my only way out than realizing that my wing of potions has 13 seconds left than I attempted to fly my way out with 3 seconds left than get hits by the dragon than falling deeper into the cave than proceeded to die from thirst than dranks cave water and dies do to parasites ohhh yes wat a day that was

You wouldn't need a copper cauldren to purify water, you literally just need 2 cups, some sticks, and a leaf You would use some of the sticks for a fire, but others to hold the cup and leaf up, when the water from the cup evaporates, the leaf would catch the condensation, and it could follow the leaf until it reaches a second cup

When you sleep with low thirst, you don't wake up dying of dehydration... You have about 30 seconds before you die of the pain of having a dry throat.
