Good lord. I loved 14 Minesweeper Variants - and Tametsi and the Hexcells series - but I had no idea that it was getting a sequel. Thanks, Steam, for completely failing to recommend to me a sequel to one of my favorite games. Oh well, at least Olexa has my back.

I love puzzles and listen how others solve puzzles piece by piece. Roguelike - it's not a real genre, it's core mechanics. You can have minesweeper roguelike where runs are levels, and rules are randomly generated :P

For the first puzzle, you could solve it top to bottom making. The 2-3-4. 1 Mine shared between left and right of 4. Combined with the mine left of the 3 you can guarantee the tile down and down right from the 4 has to be mines. With the 3-4 from the left you know that only 1 Mine can be right or right down of the 4. Which means the tile in the middle on the bottom has to be safe.

42:16 the Logic was, that there only can be 3 groups of mines. 12:4=3. So the 3 on the left binds a whole groups to the surounding tiles. Wich then defines the tiles in second row, 5th column to be a mine.

@36:53 (and the one before it you skipped) you need to look at the total mine count and know that they have to be in groups of 4. SO you can't waste a group on the top as you only have 12 total mines, thats only 3 groups and the 3 on the far side must have mines against it. So on group of mines for the bottom 3,2. One group for the middle to top. And one group for the far left 3.

Next time, could you showcase hint button instead of "too hard, I'll skip"? :) Crazy how that 34:18 miss-click uncovers a ? tile and is a completely logical move, lol. The logic here is that there's 12 mines remaining, which means 3 groups of 4. Two of those must touch the 5 tile, and at least one must touch the 1 at the top. The tile to the North-East from the 5, that you were uncovering as empty, is logically empty because if it's a mine it forces the 3 groups of mines to be all at the bottom, and unable to touch the 1 at the top. ⬛⬛⬛ 1 ⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛🟩 ⬛🟩⬛🟩⬛🟩 ⬛🟩⬛🟥⬛🟧 ⬛🟧⬛🟧 5 🟧 ⬛🟧 4 🟧 ? ⬛ Red mine forces the orange mine, and green mines are to illustrate that you can't reach the 1 at the top. But I'm not 100% sure, please correct me, logic game pros :) That's why it'd be interesting to see how the hint works.

On the 6*6 4 sized regions you could've known based on the total of mines avaliable and the 3 on the left that the region which was up to the right HAD to be connected to not have too many mines
