"Put them down for one nap a day.." what if she just won't fall asleep? I put her down when she's drowsy, thay didn't work. I put her down when she's almost falling asleep ad rocking and soothing her for half an hour, that didnt work.. she almost falls asleep and then decides to wake up agan. I put her down asleep, she will wake up and cry. I feel so frustrated.. my back hurts from carrying her around in the sleepy wrap...

I have a further problem, he was napping great in the crib until like 2-3 months, when he finally started seeing the world around him, then he stopped sleeping in the crib for no more then 15-30 min and its really hard to put him down to sleep unless he falls asleep while eating on the breast, but smt when you take the breast from him, he wakes up immediatelly. He at best now sleeps on me for a longer period.. Uh and he doesn't take pacifiers! He sucks on his finger, he can suck my fingers, but a pacifier? Nop. I have read, listened and implemented everything that I can and I just praise the lord if there is an easy 1h nap that day.. I feel you mama.

I tried to fight against nature and it just created a baby who wouldn't sleep and became overtired.

Same for us! We ended up turning all the lights on and playing bird noises all night. Want to sleep during the day? Then we make night feel like day 🤣

This interview is great, with the exception that the interviewer sounds like they are shouting. It gave me anxiety just trying to listen to the questions being asked.

They are talking like you would to a baby! Kids need stimulation so it's important to talk like this to them especially babies, but yes for us adults it can be a little jarring...

My baby did it for 6 one time. Started once a week then every night. Now she doesn’t do it because I give in a sleep with her

I think your baby might be overtired. Then it’s impossible to get them to sleep

@axeSyntax feed, swaddle, and make sure the bed is warm to start with. Ours it’s always either diaper, hungry, cold. Soon you’ll be getting into the gas stage and it’ll get more challenging. Probiotic drops help, dr brown gripe belt, etc

@@axeSyntax this is where I’m at. Baby will be 3 weeks tomorrow and she will not sleep if I put her down. How’s it going for you now? I’ve tried the swaddle and that doesn’t work either.

Wish I could baby wear my newborn but due to a lung surgery I cannot so here I am. It’s very difficult as I am in pain, I worry when she cries and I won’t have the strength to stop so I let her fall asleep on me. It’s a bad pattern for the nighttime that’s the issue.

I’m learning as my baby is almost 3 weeks old. He naps on me and sleeps on me but I’ll like for him to sleep in his crib before I go back to work cos I don’t trust my husband cosleeping with him as he’s a deep sleeper.

@@ramashabouk1305 he’s 2 1/2 months old and still sleeps on me but my husband takes over but sleeps upright till dawn on the sofa once I go to work at 6am. He’s helping him sleep in his bassinet during the day. He’s doing a better job than me.

My baby won’t sleep without me nor sit without me. I’ve gone days without eating at a time glued to the couch. I want to snuggle with her. Just when not when I need to eat shower or clean. She sleeps in her crib from 4am-11am. 11am-3am she’s in my arms. I’m trying to switch my sleeping schedule so that between 4-8am I’m up showering meal prepping and cleaning. That way from 11am-8pm I’m sleep with her.

What if the baby fights the swaddle literally. Like panics if arms arm stuck down but will wake up if arms are out bc of the jerk movement sometimes? What if baby refuses to sleep at any time unless being held upright on shoulder and chest?

Omg you need to try “mommy’s BLISS gripe water” life saver for my baby when he won’t stop crying because of gas and colic. It works instantly.

Same, my bby has either colic or cows milk allergy so she wants to sleep on me as it calms her as she is breastfed she don't like her cot anymore since 6 wk growth spurt

My baby naped in a crib until like 2 months, now at age 3months, he can nap at best for 15min in the crib...🙄 So he was introduced to napping in the crib, but now it doesn't work! 🙄

My baby is 2 weeks old and as much as I’ll like to call him spoiled he’s not. He lived in a different world for longer than he’s been out, so I’m just going to “train” him to sleep on his own. Babies with sleep problems are not spoilt they’re just as clueless as you are.
