Operation Barbarossa was only ever meant to reach the A-A line, which would've already been enough to deprive the Soviets of most of their population and resources. They could've maybe pushed for the Urals as a buffer zone at some point, but Siberia and Central Asia are desolate by comparison and the logistical nightmare of occupying all that territory would outweigh any possible benefit. In TWR Azerbaijan is already a part of RKS Kaukasus and the only Caucasian country that isn't is Armenia, which I could see the Germans annexing or puppeting but could also just be unimportant enough to be left alone As for Japan, if we're talking about TWR then none of that matters because Japan still loses.

Not in Hitler's wildest dreams did he consider the slender resources of Germany capable of conquering more than Continental Europe. Perhaps the Germans would have ruled some territory through puppets beyond their borders, but the German state itself was never, no matter how successfull the Wehrmact was, going to extent to much beyond what is presented in this mod. The whole 'Germany wanted the conquer the world' thing was just not possible, nor ever in the German plans.

Yea you'd think the invasion of Greece would still happen but it dosent seem that jt did. I mean the invasion of Greece was a pretty big deal at least untill the invasion of the USSR. Hell the reason Germany didint have paratroopers late war was because of the invasion of Crete and sence that didint happen I'm guessing Germany still uses paratroopers. I mean I'd still think the Italians would attempt to invade Greece and would lose almost like in our timeline but hey that's just what I think.

in some regards, they, along with Sweden, did. Finland proved itself and reclaimed territory from the Winter War, and Switzerland and Sweden had their economy boosted while their neighbors lost so much. The only non-war combatant who lost a lot is Spain, due to the flu and the civil war.

Yeah. Well, maybe Germany could've invaded Britain, but it could never win against the United States. Even if they had developed a nuclear bomb, they wouldn't be able to get planes close enough to drop them in the US. The US navy is incredibly strong, and the Atlantic is an incredible barrier.

In the TWR timeline, Germany and Italy basically partition Switzerland between each other in a military campaign that takes about 6 months in 1943 and 1944.

But, if an army can breach through the mountain passes into the country and hold them, I could see the Swiss army not being able to hold out too long. Switzerland’s geography has always been its greatest strength.

In real life it didn't because hitler purposely stalled and allowed the british army to escape- if he didn't and simply crushed and killed or captured all of those men, it would have been a devestating blow to the british- but I agree that it probably wouldnt have made the U.K surrender immediately. Losing 338,000 troops for the cost of nearly nothing for the nazi's would have been absolutely devestating, and made an invasion of the U.K far easier though, especially since that army was the U.K's most elite and well trained troops.

While it's true that the British empire had plenty of manpower to draw upon from their colonies, The Expeditionary force was their most elite army at their disposal, it was their professional standing army. Not to mention there were also allies at dunkirk, like the remains of the French 1st army, and some low lands strugglers. While its not certain it would have "won the war" had this army been crushed and captured, It's easy to say that the loss of nearly 400,000 elite troops would have been a devestating blow to the British and French free army, which would come back to bite Hitler in the ass in Africa and even later Normandy/Sicily. For Reference, Wikipedia states that Britian's TOTAL military casualties were 383,000 deaths over the entirety of ww2, losing the army at Dunkirk would have almost doubled that number.

If in a war all country's just have their entire army die and be put into extreme instability it is a lost war for both sides, especially if those nations would collapse like Yugoslavia or the soviets.
