so i broke up with my ex boyfriend and i didnt think it ended really badly, but 2 weeks later he started dating my best friend . Yeah. so she doesnt tell me for like a month and were all hanging out and every one knows except for me , someone finally tells me and i wait her out. she comes over my house for a whole day but doesn't try to talk to me and completely avoids me in my own house lmao. Then a week she later tells me through a text message. and then i blow up but every one tells me to forgive her and that I'm somehow the bad guy. DEFINITELY TALK TO YOUR FRIEND BEFORE HAND. I wouldn't have cared if shed talk to me face to face but she went around me and tried to avoid worse case scenario which she got in the end. One time, My first love/ my first boyfriend pursue and tried to go out with my best friend. It was so awkward and upsetting for me. Mostly because after he and I broke up, we still decided to be good friends. What a-hole move for him to pursue her. There are about 7 billion people on this Earth and he couldn't pick another girl to like. Thankfully, my best friend was considerate of my feeling and I was considerate of hers. I had a long talk w/ her and I told her if she liked him. Of course I would set my selfish feeling aside because I care more about her happiness than mine and she told me she wasn't even remotely interest in him. LOL. And she just thought the attention he giving to her, was flattering which I can totally understand. I'm happy to say my best friend and I are still best friends and our friendship came out stronger than before. As for my friendship with my first love... It still exist and it's okay. I just lost some respect for him because it showed me that he clearly didn't care for my feelings or had common courtesy to ask/ think it would hurt me. I will say I had a talk with him and we sorted all this out but I haven't quite forgave him nor do I think he would even cares if I do or don't forgive him. #shittyscenerio #pleaseexcusemycursewords

dating a friend's ex, also depends on how close i'm with the friend and the situation of their break up. i have dated/ "seeing" a friend's ex. but that was with a friend that i was only acquainted with and also they haven't been together for about 2-3 years. also the friend pretty much cheated on him. and the way that we started seeing each other was that one day he just msg me on fb and we got to chatting and then started hanging out. but unfortunately it didn't last too long since i found out later on he had some issues and i ended it. oh well, it was a good experience. that's first scenario. second scenario: i had to find out from one of my ex, (that i became good friends with) that he started to date one of my closest friends and she didn't tell me. when i confronted her about it, she told me she did have an interest in him but wouldn't really give me all the details of her feelings and what was going on. i was hurt, because she was the one i always told about my feelings and problems when i dated him. i felt a bit betrayed, and hurt that she couldn't tell me herself. after that i pretty much lost my trust in her and i'm still friends with her to this day, but we're not as close and i don't go to her to talk about my life or any of my problems. also her and my ex didn't work out, but not cause of me, just that my ex turned into a total douche and blew her off later on.

Hey, Wong Fu Pro. I know my comment is just a comment among hundreds or thousands of other comments, but no harm in trying, right? I recently just got out of a relationship. Me and my girlfriend had been in an LDR (America to Indonesia) for 5 months, I felt like we were perfect for each other. But gradually, after the first 2-3 months, I guess I kinda started to dislike talking to her. She wasn't the most talkative person and I had to do all the communicating work. We grew distant, but we still talked every day. Just less and less. I tried my best to keep talking to her and dating her, despite our language barrier. It was tough, and I felt like I had to do all the work in the relationship. I almost came close to breaking up with her 2 times, but just a week ago I actually left her. Then I cried and begged for her back, and I got her back, but because of circumstances (and I didn't feel happy with her anymore), I decided it was best for her to not date me. She's dating her ex again, and he seems like a cool guy, but was I wrong to let her go, just because I felt unhappy? Or was it for the best, and we weren't meant for each other?

Hey so i know you guys look at comments and stuff, and i wanted to try this since you know, you guys are known for all the relationship stuff, and i'm gonna go straight into it since it doesn't really need an entrance lol. I'm in love with my best friend, and i don't know what to do. I've known her for 2 years and im about to be a sophomore in college. my friends never really dated people in high school... and neither did i :( we were the nerds... but i wouldn't...

depends, if i had kids w/ my x or still friends with them, I'd keep the gifts they gave me I'd sacrifice myself for the world, but if I'm on a rescue mission w/ a partner, it depends on the other person's age (will only sacrifice myself if they're younger than me) i don't believe in aliens, so if my significant other was 'abducted by aliens' I'd permanently breakup with them (if i 'saw' it happen, I'd check myself into a mental hospital) i don't mind being the center of attention or PDA, but i don't agree w/ the pressure of public proposals (should be private just in case), but it's not a red flag 4 me & would just tell them afterwards if i didn't mean "yes" i'd only date a friend/acquaintance's x if they gave me permission
