If Ronaldo went to Man City, and I say this as a city fan, he would've developed as more of a team player in Pep's team. His passing skills would have increased a lot and unlike in Man Utd where they thought that only he should do everything, Ronaldo would not be blamed for losses.

He would definitely have a better spell and win more trophies, even the UCL in 2023. Remember, Ronaldo was amazing his first season back at United, scoring bunch of clutch goals and winning matches. For being 40, he is still amazing. However, he still thinks he is 25 and wants to be the main player which would be a problem in Man.City as Pep really doesn't take shit and is not afraid to tell players the harsh truth. If he would have accepted being a rotation player, he would be an absolute beast. But, he wouldn't accept being a secondary character. I think him and Pep would have clashed somewhere down the road after which Pep would not play him anymore especially with Haaland coming in which would prompt Ronaldo to leave. Also, you're underestimating Real Madrid in the UCL haha. They always find a way, I don't think Ronaldo would be much of a factor in that match.

Cristiano Ronaldo's football IQ has always been high, and his abilities in passing and creating space for the team are clearly not inferior to Haaland's. Ronaldo's contributions in his final season at Manchester United deserve more appreciation. If Haaland's current performance at Manchester City is considered successful, I don't believe that a later-stage Ronaldo would be incapable of handling that job. In reality, Guardiola is nullifying Haaland's individual abilities and uniqueness. This is something Guardiola cannot do to Cristiano Ronaldo because Ronaldo arrives as the world's best player. In theory, Ronaldo choosing to ride the Manchester City wave would clearly be a win-win situation.

Good video but i would like to point out the fact that ronaldo for most of his life has played in teams that are predominantly counter-attacking so adapting to a very possession based game at that age with his ego would be troublesome even for guardiola so i dont think guardiola would have ever considered him and we also know guardiola doesnt allow his players a lot of freedom (except messi) which would clash with ronaldo's ego whereas we see guardiola chose grealish in that position as he is much better in a possession based style...
