So much untapped potential in this universe. I’d love to see Marvel give this and the Tobey universe a second shot. Obviously a movie would be the best option but if they don’t want to invest too much they could give them the DC treatment of making a short comic mini series continuing the universe. I still would love to see a full Spider-Man cinematic universe with Andrew’s Spidey.

Just from the info we have it sounds like it would have flopped with how much they were trying to do with the symbiote, black cat, meeting MJ and a serum to bring back Gwen Stacy. If they did one where he meets MJ in group therapy and they teased the symbiote or even gave it to him at the end that could be good, and you could still have black cat being an antagonist in the movie. She could even be working for kingpin or another classic Spiderman villain. Just my opinion

I think Peter getting the symbiote after losing Gwen is a genius idea and I can't get over the fact that it hasn't been done before (maybe there is a comic in an alternative universe, but I haven't heard about that)

I think there were plans to make a Sinister Six movie before TASM 2 and this was teased in that deleted post credit scene of TASM 2, there were even plans to bring Norman back for Green Goblin as his head was put in Cryostasis and the Syrum would keep him alive.

I’d still be happy to see TASM 3 get made someday. But now looking at some ideas in this plot, I think changes would need to be made. “Peter finding a serum to bring people back fr the dead”? This serum definitely sounds like water from DC Comics’ Lazarus Pits. But I would like to see Andrew Garfield’s Spider Man get the Symbiote suit and turn into Bully Garfield! He’s gonna put some dirt in your eye!

If They Do Make It It Should Be Spider Man vs The Sinister 6

Honestly the part with group therapy, mj, black cat and potentially getting the symbiote could’ve worked well , the movie being about grief and moving on , but then Sony would’ve messed it up with rebooting Gwen

Man the whole movie should be based on Grief about gewn's death and venow taking advantage of Andrew's mindset

They could still use the deleted scene of Peter meeting his dad but it would be at the beginning of the film as a flashback before the events of No Way Home and then it would fast forward to the main events of the film which would take place after the events of Spider-man: No Way Home

I want at least one Spiderman to keep the symbiote suit as a friend instead of it being a villain

A Toby Maguire Spider-Man 4 with an all new villain and a mature Spider-Man would be cool. Maybe Peter helps teach a young mile morales while dealing with a new villain we haven’t seen yet

I think that’d be some interesting drama if Peter gets the symbiote RIGHT after Gwen’s death to amplify it more. And show how he pushes away the people that could help him and how he as to learn to let go and move on or he’ll lose mj. Like MJ being the one person that could ease the pain from Gwen and he almost loses her/pushes her away. But she sticks by his side either way and that could be one of the things that makes Peter fall in love with her. And he realizes he need her

I like the idea of it being about coping with loss (I can't lie, the Peter meeting M.J. at group therapy idea sounds really interesting and unique). It's the stuff involving the symbiote and Richard Parker still being alive and all of Peter's dead loved ones coming back to life and shit that I can't fuck with.
