If you wanted to keep the teams for Yolei and Sora from being too similar, one of their Braviary's could also be subbed out for a Hawlucha. Could work as either a Hawkmon reference for Yolei, or a Garudamon reference for Sora.

The Decidueye to Shurimon reference is even better when you consider Shurimon is the only form Hawkmon can take (in the anime) that isn't a bird or bird-like, thus her only Non Flying pokemon

Personally I think Stoutland fits Wallace better then Diggersby as Terriermon is more dog themed then Rabbit.

The word you're looking for PragMagik is "Ankylosaur". It's a broad term for those armored type of dinosaurs.

I get the bug overlap and Stingmon/Yanmega is perfect. But what if? I was thinking Poison type. Beedrill stingmon, Scolipede wormmon, Nidoking is maybe a weak choice but it’s a mash up of animals like Kimeramon, and Naganadel. Ken is special so he gets an ultra beast, combines his type with Davis’s. Poison felt like the go-to type in my mind just cause it feels eviler, redeeming from the evil Digimon Emperor. These vids were great though keep ‘em coming!

I love my D-Terminal! As a kid, I absolutely LOVED mixing digimon wit other digi-eggs to see what kind of digimon they made. Back then, before the internet really popped off, my D-Terminal was like a lil Digimon Encyclopedia! Haha 😄

I think in considerations of further Pokemon + Digimon, also very prominent rivals like Ogremon or Parrotmon for Taichi would work as part of the Pokemon team, since he encounters them in the wild and bonds with them. Blaziken as Parrotmon and Darmanitan as Ogremon work marvelously. For Kari, I would add Hatterene as a reference to Wizardmon. I would add Musharna to TK's team as a reference to Patamon. Additionally, I think Ludicolo could be a great addition to Mimi's team given ShogunGekomon. Etemon would also be feasible with Tai, so Infernape would be fine too. Vademon and the Alien Digimon with Izzy could be represented as Izzy capturing one of the resurrected Genesects. I would also add Tropius to Sora's team as a reference to her 2020 counterpart defeating Flymon. I would change Yolei's typing to Fighting with Mienshao, Falinks, SirFetch'D and Hawlucha, wth Sir Fetch'D being her ace, given it synthesizes both the Flying and Grass components of her Eggmon. Decidueye Hisuian form too. I would also change Ken to Ghost-type, given the whole "Digimon Emporer" thing and how he discarded that form which was hollow, so I would give him Shedinja as his ace, Gourgeist to represent Pumpkinmon, Dragapult to represent Imperialdramon, Dusknoir for Devimon or DemiDevimon.

I love these cause I realized how similar my favorite digimon lines are to my favorite digimon haha. Favorite Digimon: Patamon (Angemon lines and Pegasusmon) and Veemon (specifically the armors/Magnamon) Favorite Pokemon: Togekiss (the angel theme, and a flying mammal thing like Patamon), Lucario (Veemon/Exveemon/Magnamon), Gardevoir/Gallade (humanoid angel theme), Dragonite (Patamon colors and wings/Goddramon) plus Dratini/Dragonair are blue dragons like Veemon.

For Digimon 03 Takato (Fighting) - Throh (color), Falinks (Shield), Kommo-o (Part dragon type), and Sirfetch'd for ace (Lance and shield.) Henry (Normal) - Diggersby and Lopunny (Bunnies), Kecleon (Color), and Snorlax for ace (Snorlax is kinda greenish.) Rica (Fire) - Darmanitan and Emboar (Japanese/East asian inspired), Delphox (Wand/Staff + fox), and Ninetales for ace (Obvious reasons.)

I associate 02 more with Ryo than Meiko, but I guess we need to save him for Tamers? He should be either Dragon or Dark, because he *needs* a Hydreigon, because of its similarities to Milleniummon, and also because Dragon fits that he used to to stuff with Veemon (and Monodramon, and Agumon) and the part of Milleniummon that's his destined partner is probably Machinedramon (a dramon). Or do Dark, because Milleniummon was the villain for a whole set of video games and again, Ryo's partner. Ai and Mako should probably have Dark (or Ghost), though, I think. If the twins do Ghost, I honestly could do Fairy, Dragon, or Dark for Takato (Guilmon kind of has a Dragon/Knight thing going on (and was made from wishing) and is also a Virus Digimon with a potential Evo that destroys the world just by existing)

May I suggest a yamask for Ken? I know it doesn't fit in with the rest of the bug types, but I feel like it would make sense for him to have a ghost type as a nod to Osamu. He doesn't even have to use the pokemon in his gym team, they could just follow him around.

I'm on board with most of the choices made for the 02 kids; not sure how I'm feeling about the focus on Willas' team angling so heavily on Kokomon and its line, rather than Terriermon, but c'est la vie

I actually think Dracozolt works for Davis because in it official art it looks like a big goof which matches Veemon's personality to a T. Also I noticed in the picture you put up of Ragdramon and Dracozolt side-by-side that Dracozolts arms match Ragdramons horn pretty much perfectly

I know Salamence (and now Roaring Moon) fit the V-mon line pretty perfectly, but Mega Charizard ✘ would be a really good fit for XV-Mon too. Seeing as he’s also dragon type when mega evolved, has the ✘ right in his name like XV-mon and even has the same blue on his belly. But I know you don’t want to borrow too many things like Tai having Zard too. But maybe Tai could have Zard Y instead. And while I know it obviously couldn’t be used for a gym leader team, Ultra Necrozma visually fits Magnamon pretty well. He’s also Dragon Type and has the golden light armor. But I suppose that would be fitting for a mega level or stronger Digimon like Magnamon. Maybe Kommo-O could make for a good Magnamon stand in too. Seeing as he has a similar nose horn like Vmon and the gold scales on his body could be interpreted as Magnamon’s golden armor

Gen 9 added some pokemon the work fantastic for the adventure/adventure 02 kids like Armourougue for Tai as a reference to BlitzGreymon with its blaster also seeming visually similar to WarGreymon but he could also have Ceruledge as a reference WarGreymon and him having acces to both long range and short range megas. Also Ceruledges colour could refer to the Virus MetalGreymon that Tai's Aguemon became in 02. Lokix is the perfect Stingmon reference for Ken. Not to mention Roaring Moon and Iron Valient being great picks for Davis and Kari

i think Mimikyu for Kari could still work as a reference to the Dark Ocean

Video is 2 years old but I'd personally switch Duraldon for Komo-o since Komo-o has gold in it's design and is a fighting dragon type which feels more magnamon to me personally.

If you ever do Tamers, I'd say Rika's is the easiest considering either Delphox or Ninetales would fit her (Renamon line). She'd also need either a Zoroark or a Mienshao (the latter being a reference to Renamon's martial artist moves and her initial hot blooded nature). Takato would have Tyrantrum For most of Guilmon's stage (Dark red/dragon type) a Hydreigon (closest we'd get to Megaidramon for a dark dragon) and Mega-gallade (Gallantmon crimson mode), Henry would have what Wallace would have for his terriermon, plus Chestnaught as many people found it a similarity to Mega-gargomon's role as the team's green chugganaught. Ryou would have Bisharp (Justimon) and Jeri would have male Pyroar (Leomon).

You could also use Purrloin for Mei as it is also a dark Type feline Pokémon. Plus has some similar colorations to meicomon line. Though has yellow instead of orange.

I think you made some solid choices on these. I would consider it they would be successors to some of the original Digidestined's gyms. I look forward to some more of these if you keep going.

Can't wait for the next parts because there are some digi destined you can take it in a couple of ways like Marcus can be either fire or fighting considering he literally punch Digimon Or mickey from fusion and other fusion characters considering most of them can be a couple of typing

From the Video, MY Fave Teams are for Sora🦅, Koshiro🐞, Hikari🧚🏼‍♀️, Iori🌋, & Daisuke🐉 As I commented in the previous Video, if they would go with Gym Leader w/ Mixed Team path like Green/Blue Oak, they could include Mons that rep their respective Crests like Lucario for Friendship, Alakazam for Knowledge, etc. which leads me to think additional optional Mons for Daisuke & Ken that represent their respective unique crests: Miracles & Kindness AND similar to what you did for Daisuke & Yolei, maybe give Mons to also be passing to torch for Iori like giving him Nincada to rep being a succuessor to Koshiro being a Bug-Type User🐞 in the previous Video

Giving Meiko a team is a fun idea, but alternatively, you could have gone with Oikawa, the human villain of 02! Though I suppose he could also work as the evil team leader equivalent instead. If he were an evil team leader, he wouldn't have to stick to a single either so he could have like... Drapion for Arukenimon, Cofagrigus for Mummymon, Giratina or something to represent Malomyotismon maybe? And then idk you could throw in a Sunkern to represent Datirimon or something... but maybe a better fourth team member might be bisharp to represent blackwargreymon.

I would give Ken the dark or ghost type pokemon, they suit him better since he was the Digimon Kaiser ( besides that Ken reminds me a lot of Silver and Gladio). Also because of his relation with darkness and the death of his brother that gave him a horrible depression. My favorites for him: Hydreigon, spiritomb, lokix, weavile and ceruledge

Having more mons definitely helped flesh out the teams more

I feel hatterene could be a decent replacement for grimsnarl..Both feature hair but hatterene is a lighter color like her white hair and skin; but in the end I think either could work! TK could of also had a shaymin (if you're allowing stronger mons like that) as it goes from a small cute thing to growing wings and flying just like his digimon (and it'd be a bit pretty and angelic).

Just making fun of Leomon dying almost every season but also her puppet gives Mimikyu wibes). Seriusly Normal, though. Give her Pyroar and some cat-mons: Persian, Delcatty, Purugly). Even H-Zoroark. Maybe a Bewear? 7. Kazu (Steel) 8. Kenta (Water or Fairy)?
