fun fact: In 15th century, a Bohemian King George of Poděbrady started sending messengers to rulers around Europe. He had an idea of kinda, federative european union, where internal conflicts would have been solved diplomatically. It was to have its "parliament" and stuff...The main idea was to unite against Ottomans....so this idea isn't all that far-fetched...The idea was never really accepted by major rulers of European kingdoms...

Note on the countries leaving: this happens because most tag switch decisions remove you (and all your provinces from the empire) UNLESS you're an elector or the emperor, that's also probably why the mod gives some of the elector positions to nations likely to form others (england-britain; poland-commonwealth; castile-spain; muscovy-russia)

@@matthiasbindl7085 Nope, Europe counts 51 nations, only 28 (27 soon) are part of the EU. 28/51= 55%

@@stemom eh but a lot of those are city states like monaco lichtenstein or the vatican. Populationvise of 720 million europeans, 510 million are in the EU and 550 million are in the association agreement which essentially puts them into the EU without a way to influence things
