Honestly the most satisfying thing in Timelapse’s is seeing late game allies with dozens of different nations fighting together against the Germans and soviets.

Other than weird alliances, exactly as expected. If you don't force AI to not surrender and actually take paths to defend themselves properly, you will always end up with Germany beating everyone and/or defeating USSR/failing to do so and be eventually overrun by some variation of allies.

Why did the Germans form the ECA with the Soviets? Why did they leave/ get kicked out? Why did Italy form the Triumvirate instead of joining the Axis? Such a weird weird world but at least the USA was the clear victor of all of this
