I "agree" with your timeline (insofar as someone can agree to an alternate history). I disagree with the map, Egypt had no legal or ethnic claim over the Negev. Likewise, Syria had no legal or ethnic claims to the Jordan River valley. These territories, legally part of the Mandate of Palestine, would pass to this new Kingdom of Jordan, with a Jewish autonomy as you described and as outlined in the Abdullah-Weisman accords. Also, I disagree with the name; Palestine was labeled as "Cisjordan" (where the term "West Bank" comes from) while modern-day Jordan was officially called "The Hashemite Kingdom of Transjordan" (and labeled by some as "East Bank"). Simply calling it "The Kingdom of Jordan" would be enough; the modern-day Kingdom of Jordan only got that name after the war, as it annexed the West Bank. As such, you could've just called it "The Kingdom of Jordan". PS: I'm a Palestian Jordanian.

The other scenario I could see happening is eventually homogeneity. Since the Palestinian and Jordanian people would be allowed free migrationthroughthe country, many may eventuallymove in fromrural areas to the coastal cities. And since the JAZ people would be citizens too they'd be allowed to migrate and so some might move to rural areas for various reasons, kibbutzim rural settlements may also be developed in certain areas depending on how people feel and some Jewish people may move to other major cities in the nation (Jerusalem, Amman, Zarqa, Aqaba etc). In addition, immigration to the JAZ would be substantially lower. So after a few decades it may become a mixed homogeneous Arab state with a substantial (10-20%) Jewish minority with maybe a higher coastal population (25-30%) than an eastern population (5-10%). But depending on how things work out, the general population may be fine with this. There would be radical Zionists still but the general Jewish and Arab population will likely just be happy to accept a diverse and happy mix of peoples in a society that is reasonably prosperous

There is 0 chance for any JAZ after an Israeli loss. The animosities are just too big for the Arabs to propose an autonomy for Jews. While probably it wouldn't turn out Holocaust #2, except the casual massacare, it'll probably Israel's version of the Nakba. All the Jews would probably be loaded to boats sending them back to Europe. I don't think Jordan would get much in terms of territory. Egypt was the strongest army, and it was the closest to bring Israel to defeat. So I guess after 1948 Palestine would become a small district in Egypt. However, the Suez crisis might have occured earlier, and in that case UK and France might have invaded Palestine under the pretence to recreate the Israel, giving them infrastructure that enables them to protect the Suez canal.

The involvement of the PLO in the Lebanese Civil War came after Syria drove the war. Syria considers Lebanon as Syrian.

I think this would be the best outcome, I believe eventually both the JAZ and possible West Bank/Gaza-Palestinian areas would eventually be allowed independence and although extremism on both sides would always exist, I think that with both sides relatively happy after all the independence was obtained I doubt any major international wars would occur. I actually now wish this was how it'd worked out. Yet another What-If scenario I feel would be better than the reality

The people of those neighboring countries would gladly with a clear conscious do "not nice" things. That is why my opinion this video is a sanitized whitewash. Self-interest because many local Arabs who been to Mandatory Palestine had seen the formerly wastelands turned into thriving or at least habitable settlements with water and fertile soil. Arabs do not do long-term investment of the same kind the rest of the world do. They saw opportunity to take over the farms, they grab it as potential reward. But along the way why not help yourself with some pillaged goods of some "rich wealthy" Jew household. Many Arabs rarely had the chance to eat canned food and powdered milk.

You just forgot that a lot of Palestinians back then and not a few even now call for Palestine from the river to the sea, and the destination of the jew is at sea.
