That's a point were I agree. I would actually like to see a form of dynamic Mission Tree were the Missions of every nation get adjusted so that they can conquer/colonize everywere.

The trees often do adjust if requirements are objectively impossible. Nothing bigger then that however

As a dutch I agree without spices dutch food would be inedible like its so bland dear lord this is why most popular dutch food is either foreign food or a combination. Fries do not count and if you do there is also spices to put on top of them to spice it up.

Spy network construction is not garbage. At max level spy networks give you 20% siege ability and -30% aggressive expansion with the target nation, those are huge bonuses considering you literally just have to press one button. Having bonuses to construction means that you won't have to wait around as long before it gets to that full bonus. It means you can easily afford to actually use your spy network for other things sometimes, like to sow discontent, which is underrated, that +2 unrest could be enough to make the AI raise autonomy on a bunch of their provinces or maybe they'll conveniently pop up and cause a nuisance when you're at war with them. The AI does seem to actually attack rebels in this patch so it's not as annoying for them as it used to be but it's still something that will give you an advantage over them and it doesn't even cost you anything, it's actually crazy powerful when you really look at it. Espionage ideas are probably my favourite idea group behind diplomatic because of everything I've just said. Don't underestimate the power of spy networks. I mean, if you take Espionage you get extra diplomats for convenient spying, you get bonuses to construction, you get a base 10% siege ability and -20% aggressive expansion, combined with a full spy network you're looking at 30% siege ability and -50% aggressive expansion on all your enemies. How can you tell me that isn't incredibly powerful? It may not be flashy, but spy network construction is far from garbage imo.
