What If Towers Could Grow? BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - in this mod, every tower gains an ability allowing you to absorb any tower in exchange for more power on said tower! Not only increasing the stats but the size as well.

You should look into data type overflow, which can happen if a number becomes too high. It essentially resets at the lowest possible value and continues climbing again, sort of like modulus where the modulo is the highest possible positive integer/float.

Interesting concept I must say. I think it'd be interesting to see you try a boss with this on. Trying to do it with the lowest tier tower possible would also make it better

Assuming you did not change settings, btd6's framerate is capped at 60 fps which means that the 5-2-0 super mines was achieving 12,700,754 Dps.

if the attackspeed value wasnt underflowing like this mod was, normally you can actually upgrade beyond that limitaiton. if you can get two full attacks per frame you will

I think it has to do with the framerate, like if you are asking to throw a projectile 60 times a second, no problem one every frame, but if you're asking to do 100 a second sometimes when the frame is being generated the tower would be on "cooldown" from a projectile that wasn't generated because it was after the frame before. Other theory is just overflow, when the number gets too big it can go back around.

I noticed that towers could get a damage increase where some hits did a normal amount of damage where others did an extra layer. Kind of like a crit.

Im pretty sure that hitting the integrer limit in one of the values that the mod provides makes it go into negative numbers and not work anymore, thats why the dart started dying

random fun fact about this mod that i found: apparently if you sacrifice a banana farm to a monkey, that monkey will generate bananas the same way as that banana farm. so basically its just monkeyopolis but it buffs towers

The reason the towers where getting weaker when you powered them too much is you where going past the integer max that computers can count to (known as integer over flow) so it was going to the negatives

you may have gone over the integer limit causing the values to turn negative which caused your monke to do no damage.

ITS THE PROJECTILES, form the dar vs super I noticed how low the range of the darts themselves was so the mod creator would need to fix that somehow

Wait ISAB in the beginning some darts did one damage but some did 2. Also I think the ninja kept the alchemist buff or something cause the visual stayed, this was also the case with the engineer after the second sacrifice

I think when the attack speed gets high enough it overflows back to 0% which is why it gets slower

Do this mod again except your free dart monkey has to be the only tower that can attack on round 100. That means no alchemist (village allowed only for camp and lead popping). It would probably be a fun challenge!! Also the dart monkey must have no damage upgrades.
