Enjoyed this! Something different and really goes to show just how freakish he was in real life. Maybe worthwhile doing a career re-run (if poss) in his era, stick him at the oilers etc - can he repeat it?

Getagrip... Gretzky was never the fastest skater... McDavid would blow his doors off... However, Gretzky was a very, VERY dynamic skater... He used to 'rocker' his blades and this gave him, 'The shortest turning radius in NHL history' ... He also had unparalleled vision and anticipation... with an uncanny ability to know where hsi team mates would be, seemingly before they did... The greatest forward of all time, better than McDavid, SANS DOUBT... Better than Orr, in terms of pure, off the charts talent? I would say no, 2nd only to Orr... But it's debatable...
