I never expected WyvernGale to be quite *this* good as a defence type with just a few changes! This new combo is officially one of my all-time favourites!

And yes if you were wondering, this combo absolutely loses to any regular stamina type. Such is the price for good defence ;-; (Just as Takaratomy intended)

Thank you for clarifying that. I got people calling defense bad in X when they don’t win against stamina. But do fine against atk smh.

I like seeing these types of videos giving love to less used Beys. Seeing the typical Phoenix Wing and Wizard Rod combos gets old. This video is a breath of fresh air.

I find wyvern Gale nowadays to be one of the more rare parts for x, almost up there in difficulty to find with the rush bit. Both of which are solidly behind the cobolt drake

Yeah prize beys tend to be pretty rare, and especially because it hasn’t received a recolour outside of its initial release

Quite a nice combo, keeps Phoenix at bay. Would probably hold it's own well against other heavy hitters, too. Tanking 2 Extreme Dashes from Phoenix Wing is insane lmao

Nice video, I recommend doing a beyblade X combo video from comments whenever you’re free to. (Of course you dont have to, but I think itd be fun and increase engagement) my combo pick would be Knight Lance, 3-60, Gear Point.

Kind of off topic but it’s crazy to me that defense types this generation are some of the lightest. See Shinobi shadow as an example. Defense types should have less stamina that stamina beys but should be heavier/bulkier to compensate. TT missed the memo apparently. Other than that, X is amazing

Yeah X’s defence types have been really weird, especially with the release of Shinobi I hope something changes soon. RhinoHorn shouldn’t be the heaviest defence blade ;-;

Great video! I use a similar combo of wizardarrow 9-60 GN, Amazing defense and also the most beautiful counter X dashes I’ve seen! Would love to see more of this combo videos🔥

WizardArrow is surprisingly good at defence! Wizard on Needle is a classic defence combo I’ve brought to tournaments

Metal Needle wasn’t out at the time, and although it adds weight the reduced friction would be worse for defence

@@aPink_Lemon Hexa has high burst resistance, and I think it does the same thing as gear needle (KO resistance) but better, and with the high burst res you can afford 5-60 which adds weight

Wyvern’s blade leaves the nubs on 5-70 extremely exposed though
