So what if you just stopped washing your hands? Well, you might become exposed to a number of viruses, from respiratory viruses like the influenza virus to norovirus, a severe stomach bug. But if you keep not washing, you might end up with even worse illnesses. Here's what would happen if you stopped washing your hands forever.

Fun fact, the doctor at 0:52 was ridiculed by the other arrogant doctors when Semmelweis proposed this theory. The doctors got triggered by the fact that would have unclean hands as they were seen as these high-class gentlemen.

I have obsessive-compulsive disorder, I'm always washing my hands, even more when I'm stressed, my hands are so dry from constant washing and this video just makes me want to go to wash my hands, again.

The pandemic made me like that too I became too ocd that I hated going to the toilet because I spent too long washing my hands too many times and had too many showers and used too much soap that my skin just started peeling off and becoming scaly My parents told me to use lotion but honestly I thought I should tackle it at the root of the problem I made it a goal to fight off the need to wash my hand unecessarily at least once a day Example if I already washed my hand twice and felt the urge to wash a third time for whatever reason other than it was actually properly dirty I'd fight off the urge and count that as my goal for the day Maybe you can try it too Set a goal to let go of at least one unecessary wash a day It was hard for me but slowly it's working Now I don't wash my hands 20 times a day like I did then

Same here I wash my hands everyday every sec every min I wash my hands before I eat after I eat before I touch my phone before I go too bed and after I use the bathroom if I even get grease on my hands from food I gotta wash my hands lol I think I’m werid for that lol idk but I gotta keep my hands wash

Bradley Corp put out that of the 1k surveyed only 57% in January of 2021 were washing their hands 6-15 times a day and 43% were washing them 0-5 times a day. It’s on their website but the pandemic is still going and washing hands is important regardless because humans touch so much stuff. Also doesn’t hurt to clean a phone without its protective case on too from time to time either.

I work in a pharmacy and we have a box of plush microbes. Look up My Giant Microbes on google images. You will find them cute. Especially the fat cell, because he is literally a big round ball with eyes

People usually wash hands in US but not in my country, flesh eating bacteria cannot exist in here, because the weather is hot and sunny, and not cool like in US. Only wash hands after and before dinner, lunch, breakfast or even hands get dirty. Not always wash when your hands still clean.
