"Zepplin bombers" is not a thing just FYI Boeing'S B17 and B25 bombers did well enough and the zeppelins were (i think) was used and anti aircraft but in the air. If I am wrong feel free to tell me

The zeppelin carrier idea was an actually idea and it was real but it wasn’t possible because of the docking procedure for the planes and the planes could miss and cause another Hindenburg. And it was slow.

Secret of Zeppelin.. 1. regular bullets didnt work... incendiary didnt work..(you needed air/oxy) 2. the gondola, is only the head, and most of the rest is inside...and it can carry ALLOT... 3. best way to hurt it was Cut it apart...Shrapnel...but it had to hit and NOT just fly threw it.. there was little to impact with it..so it had to be Timed explosive....but remember 15000feet, is around 3 miles..and not many weapons shot that high.. and airplanes didnt like it up there, and the pilots would loose Oxy and HEAT...its cold.. and record suggest they could get VERY high..and no excess fuel..

back in ww1 incendiary worked magics because back then they didn't use helium but rather hydrogen to fly zeppelins and hydrogen was very flammable. also yes planes could fly that high, the flight ceiling of the sopwith camel for example was 19000 feet, and if planes didn't like it up there the zeppelins wouldn't like it up there too because there were no pressurized cabins back then
