Been a diver and enthusiastic follower of the top athletes. I’d never seen the “straight” position from platform with woman in white swim cap. 1950s? It’s awesome. Why doesn’t anyone do it now?

To be short.. for each dive you get 7 votes, the best two and the worst two are not considered. Then you take the three in the middle, sum them and then multiply by the coefficient of the dive!

Divers are scored on approach form and entry into the water you may have a good dive but if your entry is horrible you may got a drastic score drop so if I’m trynna guess I scored I usually guess by entry.

Easy 10 points from 0 to 10 0-3 for approach 0-3 for Flying 0-3 for entry 0-1 is in the judges discretion (we called the floater) 7 judges (11 for synchronized events) The highest and lowest score are dropped So you add all the scores and the. Multiple that by the difficulty score (e.g 3.4) And that’s the score :)
