Not really, more like supporting modders. We are not making mods an official part of HOI4. This is new content, created by modders, added into the official HOI game.

Smaller content packs for a cheaper price is better than 3 focus trees for 20 Euro, who doesn't actually have a great impact on the game. You guys at paradox interactive should work more with mod devs. You guys dont have to invent the wheel from scratch. Use talented modders and support thier projects. The community is what this game actually keeps alive. I hope the new DLC (the trailer one not the CCP) will be worth the wait, because the South America one was not satisfying at all.

The way I see it, there’s no real harm to this. If you like the aesthetics, it’s a cheap DLC. If you don’t, it has no effect on the game whatsoever if you don’t get it. It’s like the Sabaton music packs. I don’t like Sabaton, so I didn’t buy it. Nothing gained or lost.
