If you have been scammed by a conveyencer and a seller? I bought my property last year in July but after a month I found out that the property was transferred to someone else. Even now I haven't got my money back and none of them is attending my calls

It really depends on number of factors. But in general if it's a non binding expression of interest then no problem. All else, best to engage a profession.

If the conveyancer didn't add your name to the title by mistake, how do you fix this.

They tell me there's nothing they can do. 😢 home loan, no home. Now it's a battle with the bank as to why they approved it.

Will I end up paying a conveyancer twice if I first sell my property and then look to buy another property immediately after (ie within 1-3 months)?

Yeah as its two different transactions its twice the work, so twice the fee unfortunately.

Thanks Donna, great question and all depends on the state you are looking to purchase in. It would be recommended to use the services of a conveyancer based in the state you are looking to purchase in, as they'll have a better understanding of the nuances in the contracts and process.
