What Is A Flare Screen in Basketball, in this video I breakdown the Flare Screen in Basketball. A Flare screen is when 1 wing player has the Basketball and the other wing screens for the player at the point. A Flare screen is extremely useful at the high school level and even higher.

Hey man, I just wanted you to give me an insight on how to defend screens or to read and react to the offense?

always try to chase over a screen unless your team is into switching... how to read and react, thats mostly knowing when to cut when your defender is looking at something else, knowing the type of defense is being played and how to take advantage of when a player is forcing you a certain way

@@bballcoachallen A lot is knowing personenell. Going under on non shooters is a good option. Good defensive teams also blitz pick and rolls and have help defenders take away the one pass away.
