I don't get it, Furries are generally very nice people. Their suits are also very expensive and hard to make- that takes a shit ton of work. There's the sexual ones and mostly, the normal ones. It's not that hard to understand yet people still bash them.

Exactly. A furry is an anthropomorphic animal, meaning an animal with humanistic traits such as standing up on 2 legs. They have a bad reputation for being dirty and stuff, so they get a lot of hate. But not all furries are like that, such as my feral OCs. (I didn't know if they counted as furries but I guess so, since they can talk and stuff, but they stand on all fours.) Lots of young artists just draw innocent anthro for fun and don't deserve hate! I strongly believe furry haters should actually see if the furry is doing anything wrong before they hate JUST because it's a furry.

I wish more people had the attitude of "it's odd ..... but who cares". So much idiotic problems would go away. I'm into a lot of things, so, yeah, I also crossed paths with the furry fandom. Mostly online, though, and the pron is not bad at all. "A lot of talented artists" indeed. I ran into a real life furry person walking around uni with a fox tail hanging out of their pants once, and that is not an indicator of a "normal" person. Although quite a unique individual, we had a good talk of about 20-30 minutes and then went our separate ways. Based on this arbitrary, anecdotal encounter - I am very much OK with the furry fandom. Like, what the hell. I am weird, too, in my own ways. I also thing it's hard enough to find what makes you happy in this world. So fuck it. Do you.

Im a furry but I prefer normal animals over anthro animals Even though I think talking to a fox and it talking back would be cool and all that. I have a cat which I love and I cuddle with him a lot and to be honest, I'd rather him be a normal cat than anthro Edit: never mind I like the feral type lol

And before you say something about zoophiles being furries, no. As soon as someone is found to be a zoophile or animal abuser, they are kicked out of the fandom. The only reason y'all think we do "nasty" things is because we have no way of stopping them from calling themselves "one of us".
