I think the determining factor is how "cool" or "stimulating" the broken aspects of a Kusoge is. If you just have to press one button to do an infinite, then you'd be better off playing cookie-clicker. Both the person doing it and the viewers are going to get bored. But pulling off a Carl Clover Clap-loop? That takes knowledge and execution. It may be "easy" to do compared to other infinites, but that doesn't mean you can't drop it. It felt good to pull off, and it felt good to body Carl when he messed up. And it was hilarious to watch.

I will defend Jojo ASB until my death. Yes Vanilla ASB was a broken trash game but what people don't know is that they fixed it with updates. Final version ASB is a good kusoge. It became one of the most unique fighting game out there and fun as fuck. It's still full of touch of death but very situationals and way more complex than just only light loops (exemple: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/f5-GhrBjvLrMn4U.html) The game became so fun that it has a still quite active community. They were amongst the first to use parsec to play on the game on PC since the orginal netcode is garbage. The modding community is also quite active with notable mods being worked on like : a 60fps mod, a sort of reworked serious rainbow version (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/o7d9pJd7077FkYk.html), etc. There are also online tournaments being run until these days. So yes the game is slow due to 30 fps and is not perfect by any means but it has nothing to do with the game showed in video anymore. If you have an occasion to play try it, give the game a chance. It's a fun game.

Yeah those are good picks for Kusoge and I approve your choices since I do play fighting games, but if you use the term in Japanese gaming community, the first few games that would come into their mind are probably Death Crimson, Major Perfect Closer (メジャーパーフェクトクローザー) and Ancient Roman. Dong Dong Never Die is the in-between good and bad kusoge. Its bad because of the broken supers, infinites, *gaining meter from activating supers* and the two boss characters being playable at the start. But on the other hand, all the these things that make it bad are also what make good. It's fun seeing the crazy infinites from the goofy cast and there is actually love and care made into it when you look into the game's development backstory, especially the work put in the story mode where there is a Final Fight beat em up section where you fight gangsters and dinosaurs. Still waiting for a Dong Dong Never Die sequel for the Nintendo Switch.
