When the German Army High Command wanted to invade the Soviet Union in 1941, Adolf Hitler stated "their defences are like a castle of cards, a single hit to it will collapse all the structure" then in 1941 when the Allies were attacking the Third Reich, a German field marshal used the same simile to describe the German situation :/
