You’re killing it with your latest demos. It’s a smart move to have the full track at the end and the opinions sprinkled in between shorter demo clips. Keeps it engaging and I never feel the urge to skip something. At the end I’m really curious about the produced track, so I actually watch the whole thing. Stellar job man!

I've really wanted the Keeley Custom with the 10" speaker, now I really want this even more! At the same time though, I feel as though almost any amp can be a pedal platform.. For instance I use an Orange OR15 which is mainly known for just overdriven orange sound, but if you dial the gain knob way back and get the volume fairly high the cleans are incredible, yet people online always say it doesn't do clean... I like the single channel amp style though, and use the bridge and neck pickup for driven or clean sounds, or ride the volume control.

Darn… I think I’ve slept on this Supro. Just ended up getting a Fender SuperSonic, which is good but… Man, Celestion Vs. Eminence is a no brained. Also, I’m a bit of a shoegazer so probably for pedals a Supro would be better. I plan to upgrade mine to a greenback 55Hz though, we’ll see. Thanks again for that one more, m8!

Great clip Eirick ! The Supro Black Magick has been on my radar for a while now. This Supro Keely amp sounds great, had never seen this one, so thanks for sharing this info. I was looking for a clean pedal board amp and came across the Marshall Origins 50c a few years ago and got a great deal on one barely used. Have you tried that amp, I think you be amazed with what you can do with it ? It's 50W but can be powered down from 50w > 10w > 1w, which is great for home play. Keep up the great work !

Excellent review and agree on your major talking points. I gave you a like and subscribed. Short and to the point and great playing. Personally, I think an effects loop is a must for an amp. More than two pedals run through the front input and it colors the tone way too much. I think I really want this amp, but will definitely use a power attenuator with it. I know this video is a bit older now, but anyone stumbling across it want to help me decide which amp to buy for my pedal platform amp.. I cant decide between this beauty but most likely the 12" speaker version, a DRRI or PRRI (black-panel), or an Orange Tremlord... Right now I only have an Orange OR15, and absolutely adore that amp, the cleans are nice, the gain is unbelievable but the effects loop on it does not work. Whenever I have the cables in it, it adds a loud hum to the signal, and some of my pedals make it even louder when turned on. I bought it used so I'm not sure entirely whats wrong with it, but I've been wanting to do a wet/dry or stereo rig for awhile anyways so now I just need an amp that's got beautiful cleans and can handle essentially any kind of modulation pedal. (ventris, echosystem, synesthesia, etc)

Looking at getting a good pedal platform amp. Does this amp get pretty loud before breaking up? The only thing I have that’s 25 watts to compare it to would be the Mesa rectoverb 25 W combo. Would you say it’s as loud as that amp?

How does it compare to Deluxe Reverb in sound?

Is it enaugh loud for big with drums ?
