If you mean mixing salt with oil in cooking ... you must consider the fact that in cooking u also add other substances and liquids that help sth like salt(NaCl,an ionic subtance) to spread into mixture that oil is part of. These substances are like bridge helping polars (water) and non polars(oil).forexample Sth like milk has both oil(non polar) and water(polar) and Ca2+ (ionic)and... but why when we buy milk its oil,water and ...are not separated like they should?
