100s of millions of Christians in the world have very little material and spiritual resources while the western church has more than it ever had. Imagine if these needy christians were equipped with the resources they need , how they would be so much more effective and stronger.They lack bibles,study materials support and much of there physical needs. Give where the need is great for the furthering of the gospel with focus and vision,this gives much joy and enthusiasm for ourselves to as we play our part for God's glory

Totally disagree with this definition of a UPG! It states that only Evangelicals are True Believers. Don't fall into this trap of dividing the Body of Christ. The definition of an unreached people group is clear and does not include this Evangelical bias! We must recognize the incredible contribution of missionaries from Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, and other non-evangelical denominations! Please don't use this video and continue to promote this divisive and incorrect perspective.

This definition is used by Joshua Project and many others that do the research and keep the statistics concerning unreached people groups. joshuaproject.net/resources/articles/why_include_adherents_when_defining_unreached The video is not meant to be divisive. It is meant to rally the body of Christ to missions. I think a lot of the denominations that you mentioned would consider themselves evangelicals by the parameters the Joshua Project, Operation World, and other are using. www.nae.net/what-is-an-evangelical/ We're more concerned with wanting to see people have a relationship with Jesus rather than the label that people put on it.

I have no doubt that your motives are pure, but you are misinformed. Not all of those who are "doing the research" agrees with this definition. In fact you might be surprised to know that Dr. todd Johnson and Dr. David Barrett who are the ones who along with Patrick Johnstone initiated these lists of Unreached Peoples. And all of them did not agree with this definition of an Unreached People group. This was an evangelical import brought in by the Southern Baptist. It is a recent modification of the definition of a UPG which was established by Dr. Ralph Winter and Dr. McGavern both of which I studied under. Please do better research before you publish these videos. Your other videos are fantastic and very accurate. We use them quite often. But unfortunately, we cannot use this particular video because it, quite frankly, distorts the concept of UPGs and if folks embrace it and use it in a strategic manner, they would be reaching out to people who are actually not Unreached at all!

I am curious about two things...What is the definition of UPG that Create International holds to and how does Create International define evangelical?

Create International, when the term "evangelical" is used in this video, it is not referring to denomination or polotical label. In this case, "evangelical" means someone who is actively sharing their faith & living to make disciples. Therefore, if one is actively sharing their faith & making disciples, it needen't exclude various denominations as you were supposing. I hope that this helps clear up some confusion.

don't say it body of christ if u know the truth and keep it for yourself, Jesus said to His disciples to brought salvation to entire world, the reason why this generation is sick is because we no longer preach the salvation!! we just tell people how to have comfort and prosper life!! remember "who loves the world are belongs to the world, who loves Jesus belongs to Jesus" and Jesus said to tell people about him "make all nations to be His disciples".
