Your ACL, or Anterior Cruciate Ligament, is one of many ligaments that help stabilize your knee. If injured or completely torn your ACL, you will often instability or the experience your knee "giving out" when attempting to change direction. Getting this done on Thursday. Not looking forward to recovery with there kids 8,3,1 jumping around. But they need their momma to be at top performance to keep up with them!

HI Dr , is there a more affordable alternative than surgery to get rid of a blood clot in the leg? My mom is in her 70's she has heart condition and diabetes and a blood clot in her leg that our local doctor says could be fatal.

@@BoneDoctor_KZfaq I really do appreciate your reply. She has never been on treatment. She was first referred to have her leg removed and then we got a second opinion. The other doctor told us that her leg can be saved and we could do a surgery to remove the clot but it's quite risky and expensive. We are in Jamaica.
