Spent my whole 5years of studying thinking i wanna work for a law firm making the big buck. Finished my studies, worked for a law firm- often it felt a bit miserable and so exhausting. End result - you have money, but don’t have time- you are tired and stressed. Ended up travelling for a year. Returned home and started to work as clerk for administrative judge in court. I never thought i’d do something like this, but i must admit, this is the most fun i’ve had at work - the future is bright, job is interesting, you can really feel your impact on people, the work life balance is great and the only thing - wage is lower. But to sum it all up - try out different things. In longer term - making 30% more money isn’t the most important thing in the world as you’ll die one day anyways. Most important is to enjoy what you do, your life, family, friends and relationships. Conclusion- don’t push yourself into specific field, try out many things as a new lawyer and you’ll find what you like and just stick with it- no matter how prestige or $$$ it is!

As an admin law student this semester, I find this to be a pretty good summation of admin law in just under 7 minutes. Nice!
