I am currently working as an IT instructor BPS 16 as a permanent employee in education department . I've been in service for almost 4 years and I am 28 years old right now. I know I am not over aged but I am just curious to know, can I apply for a govt job i.e Assistant director, Assistant Commissioner etc after crossing the age limit you've mentioned as I am a permanent employee already. I don't know the civil service rule for this but i heard from many people saying that if you hold a permanent govt job than your age is saved and you can apply at any age. Is it true? Please let me know and a reference from the civil servants act will be very much appreciated. thanks

As per my knowledge, ap ki bat punjab govt. ke lye to thik he ke age ruk jati he but u cannot apply through PPSC for age relaxation. And for FPSC there shall be 10 years age relaxation till the age of 55. Punjab civil servant rules for age relaxation 1976 and federal rules 1993.
