The Order Defect Rate (ODR) on Amazon measures your ability to provide a good customer experience. Amazon has certain indicators that it uses to identify if you are providing poor customer service, and those indicators define your Order Defect Rate.
👉 How to Calculate Amazon ODR?
Amazon ODR = (No. of Defective Orders/No. of Total Orders in a given duration) X 100

ODR should always be less than or equal to 1%.
When ODR exceeds 1%, initially Amazon will give you a warning that your Amazon ODR is high and this can lead to account suspension. However, when your ODR stays high for a very long period of time, then Amazon will either restrict some of the features for you, decrease your visibility on Amazon, or even suspend your account.
