Account Manager Definition: A performance-based sales role that retains and increases the revenue of current customers, which includes renewals, upselling, and cross-selling. An account manager's job is also to keep existing customers and reduce customer churn. Hi Patrick ! My question is, is this job similar to a 'scam' sales job? I have a bit hard understanding around this, I am interested in this but I am also a bit worried this is a similar job as a scammer.

Being an account manager isn't a scam job. Companies like Oracle, Salesforce, Facebook, and Google all have "account manager" roles. If you want to avoid scam jobs, try to go with larger companies with a reputable brand name.
