Driving an F1 car is much more than just steering, braking and accelerating... 👀
So, what is a driver's workload like during a hot lap, and why is Monaco the most challenging lap of all? Allow Valtteri and Riki to explain! 🤓

Bottas’ communications skills is on another level. It’s not just his command of language nor his fluency. I mean, he knows how to relate the actual sensation to his listeners. Should this man be giving lectures or telling stories or coaching, I’m all ears.

I don't even watch F1 races, I'm just fascinated by the sport, ever since watching that Netflix series. There are so many interesting things about it: It's peak performance, entrepreneurship, innovation, technology, adrenaline rushes, high-stakes work, ruthless competition, and death-defying danger, all wrapped up into one. No other sport or hobby like it!

The Netflix show is a reality TV show, the audio is heavily edited to make it entertaining. I highly recommend people watch the actual races and qualifying, even the practice sessions can be exciting to watch. I love that DTS has got so many people into the sport but I also hope people understand this is a professional sport, not a reality TV show.

something about the onboard footage in this video looks so much more raw and fast, not sure if it's the camera perspective but I definitely prefer it to what we get on broadcasts!

Its because its so narrow. You dont habe many circuits where you hab just a few centimeters to the wall the whole lap.

This is a great educational content to allow viewers understand how complex it is to race a F1 car, and have them think twice in the future before criticizing a driver's error......even 1 corner, there are probably multiple settings to tweak and eye and attention still need to be on the race track and apex...etc...

What an interesting and very well presented video. Surely these guys could learn to fly a fighter jet in a few days. Their multitasking skills are unbelievable. On my steering wheel, I've got volume up/down, track change, call accept and menu settings! Wow!!!
