What is blood cancer?

7 жыл бұрынBlood cancer is a general term that covers a variety of diseases, including leukaemia and lymphoma. These are cancers that are caused by uncontrolled growth of particular types of cells in our blood.
In this animation for Barts Cancer Institute's Centre for Haemato-Oncology, we go into a bit more detail about how our blood is made, how mistakes in the genomes of blood stem cells can lead to blood cancer. We'll also discuss some of the treatment options that are currently being used, as well as some of the new techniques currently being developed in the lab.

Leukocytes that are infected or has been exposed with illness can be treated with so many ways, one of which are the bone marrow transplantation, that regulates production of new leukocytes. I have 7300 mononuclear cells in my knee aspiration. Does that mean cancer ? I have several very sore and inflamed joints aswell as back pain and spine pain. And fatigue. I am slightly anemic. My specialist appointment isn't for 6 weeks I'm afraid I have blood cancer

I want to give a testimony on how I got cured from cancer 2017 back I was having some Symptoms. I went to see a doctor and many blood tests was done on me, later on I was told I had warts. My doctor told me that there's no cure for warts I felt bad, I went online searching for a possible cure for warts, I saw a post of Dr.ezomo a herbal doctor that's helping people get cured from HPV, HIV, HEPATITIS e.t.c. @@cheepydog Anyone can be affected by cancer, including the 'healthiest' people - it's not anyone's fault. People engaging in risky activities like smoking don't 'deserve' cancer either. It's very nasty to suggest anyone is at fault when they have cancer and telling them they 'need to be healthier', especially blood cancers, which usually arise just through bad luck mutations that we accumulate during life.
