Assuming you mean change the color of a photo? I usually use Photoshop for that, especially if you want it look believable, like you want to shoot it in white but them give multiple color options in a catalog of look book.

You're videos stay relevant year after year! ☺ About this topic, I would like to ask you: how would you call specifically to the CAD work of the supportive material that goes into a garment or are part of the packaging: labels, hangtags, zipper, pull design, button design, polybag or any type of packaging the garment goes inside in? Thanks, Soidée. That's a great question. At a company, it would fall more under the graphics team than the CAD team. The CAD team does more prints, patterns, sketching, things that are directly connected to the designer and their creation. Labels, packaging, polybags and many times zipper and other trim design would be more graphic design and would go to the graphics team. would probably classify it that way (graphic design) as well. You don't necessary need the specific apparel or textile design knowledge you need when you're doing CAD. Most of the time you need to understand the paramenters within which you have to design (measurements of the bag or zipper or button), have the creativity and knowledge of how to use Illustrator or Photoshop.

What computer do you use ? Could you use an iPad ?

Hi! Thanks for watching and commenting. For computers, you can use either a Windows based or MAC computer. As long as you have the required OS and RAM to run the software, either type of computer will work. On an iPad, you can run the Adobe programs, but currently, the iPad is not powerful enough to run the 3d software.

It depends on what you want. As I mentioned in the video, CAD is not just one thing. It encompasses any type of computer aided software. What do you want to use? If you're not sure what you want to use, what do you want to do?
