When you told about corruption you should compare it with democratic system. There is another point - historically your team should explain how and why ancient Indian 'republican' / Gana projatantry states lapsed? What were the reasons / ideologies / philosophies acted against them? You should also include the development in science and technology during the soviet era and how much the different projects / researches are relevant in various fields, even today. In your video you cleverly avoided mentioning the two world wars which were faced by a newly formed State that was fighting against several other odds. Hope you will make any comment against my points as you always appeared democratic enough!

if you think either your teacher or this "intellectual" lecturing here are telling you the truth then my friend the problem is with you that without ever cross-checking their blabbering you believed them right away... they are efficiently doing their job of spreading bourgeois propaganda and disorienting laymen like you and me. there was a time when even i tried "to know and understand" communism through KZfaq. we get to know the truth only when we read Marx Engels Lenin Stalin Mao ourself, only then can we understand what Marxism is, along with revolutionary practice ofcourse. my advice to you is to start reading everything yourself and find a revolutionary group of marxists around you (not cpi, cpim, cpiml-lib, or trotsyists). i seriously and sincerely started studying human history, dialectical materialism and historical materialism and volunteered with RWPI to know what is the essence of marxism leninism.

New format looks really good! Could have described a bit about reforms made by EMS Namboodiripad who led India's first democratically elected communist government in Kerala. The land reform and education bills brought by his government were ideas directly borrowed from Karl Marx.

Dhruv, I really appreciate your videos but in this part, found some parts heavily missing. So will point out here 1. Lenin appreciated Rosa Luxembourg's thought but at that time all other major parties were pro-Tsar, who had been dictatorial to Russia so in beginning, One-Party State was necessary. And Lenin was open to criticism so he favoured his fierce rival Leon Trotsky as his successor and not Stalin. (It's different that Stalin used wrong ways to gain power). Infact ,any intellectuals have been supporters of Lenin like Albert Einstien, Bhagat Singh, Bal Gangadhar Tilak to create a Democratic Thought. 2. Stalin and Mao had many wrong doings but with that, under them their countries achieved a lot too. Better economy, better social structure, nation building practise and free from Imperial Powers. Moreover Stalin led USSR only saved us from Hitler. Still their version of state capitalism was as bad as crony capitalism. 3. Don't restrict Communist Movements to just Russian/Chinese kind of Communist Revolutions. Communists movements have been part of revolutions all over the world. Like mostly Anti-War Movements (especially in West), Indian Independence Movements, Unitarian Movements (Like opposition to 1947 Partition), Anti apparthied Movements. And in many countries infact, Communists have helped to create most Pro-Democracy Atmosphere like Latin America, South Africa, South Asia.

You didn't give the example of Cuban president-fidel castro. He was considered as a dictator but he still chose not to engage in any sort of violence. Dictatorship and communism isn't always that bad. Though few people have tarnished it image but you should focus on those as well who have been a positive influence.
