There were 3 or 4 Crozet tunnels. Some boys hopping a circus train were killed when cargo shifted and struck the sides of a shorter Crozet tunnel.

I've been checking out your channel all day. Good stuff! I was really happy you added current footage of the tunnel. The old pictures didn't convey the absolute claustrophobic darkness!

Same here! I've been here for 11 years and never knew it was there. Of course it wasn't fixed up until 2020 but still it's been there for nearly 200 years.

Which part did you want more of?!?! It’s a balancing act to be honest with these videos. Some videos are all Historical, while others are a mix of History, and dramatic Scary Story. I try to have the spooky exciting part introduce the historical part and have them meld together like a creepy Mac and Cheese. It’s hard to get the right mix of real history and scary story telling though. I hope the next two videos entertain you though! I’m working on two right now and thanks for watching!!!

Word Carr you got me. I moved to Woodbridge Virginia 11 years ago. But I try really hard to go out and visit places and give some history and context but I guess the cat is out the bag now. Go ahead and lock me up I’m sorry for mispronouncing it! I’ll turn myself in. The name Locals Only itself is more about the local areas than me. But I’ll serve my time. Lock me up. Also word to the wise a lot of times the narrators of videos are just reading a script, but at least I’m going out and researching these places and editing and going out to visit on my own :( Please don’t throw the book at me!!! 👮♂️🚔🚨
