I use to think limes were lemons, and actual lemons were just a yellow variety of them. The reason was because in my country of origin, we refer to both as "limón". Either way, I prefer limes better than lemons. I prefer to put in certain food, teas, or just to enjoy a homemade limeade.

Limes are lemons for us. You go to any Mexican restaurant and ask for a lemon and you'll get a lime. Remember to refer the color of it.

Where I am they are different. I’m so happy it’s not the same everywhere because I love them but cmon man… a lemon is an oval and a lime is round… but also sometimes oval. It’s the same.

I bought lime juice in the small package bottle at my local grocery store to help get rid of my cough. I wanted Lemon juice, but they only had the lime juice available. I hope the lime juice works and helps kill this nasty dry cough.

You can just literally squeeze Lemon's juice out and drink them because they're less sour. Why lime's juice is very sour, they are used to mix or making sauce in cooking more.

@@rikumajumder1558 No lemons are very big in size and yellow in color, the pulp is yellow and juicy, even the skin can be grated in food to give flavour. But in India have you grated lime, damn it is so sour you will simply throw away the food if bits and pieces comes in. But I'm still confused as internet says lime are sweet and not acidic, do you consider 😶 nimbu sweet and non acidic. I believe the foreign countries has different taste depending on the vegetation and climate. I think they call lime as "mousambi"
